Tingwa Valley Safari--This is a different kind of safari.  We are extremely flexible and try to meka the daily itinerary fit around the party's preferences.  For an itinerary we list the Tingwa, Mavare, Rwazi, Dateema, Mashonjeri, Buro, Musengezi, Manamaku, Fundumwe, and Mukorodozi Rivers to explore.  The McGrath, Rusty, and Schellenberger waterfalls.  Dead Elepahant Gorge, Incognito, The Bat Caves, The Roof of the World, Makura, Spilling Tables, the ancient fortresses of the Monomatapa Empire and a thousand other as yet unexplored and beautiful places.

Even a week's safari is too short to explore all of the above, but you will return to Kopje Tops Lodge amazed by the diversity and magnificence of the Mavuradonna.  You will have stepped back into the past, experiencing the thrill of exploring virgin wilderness

The Tingwa Valley is more a concept than an itinerary.  It means you stay at the Kopje Tops Lodge or the Bat Caves Camp each night and do not camp out in the wilderness, under the stars.  The riding also tends to be a bit easier.   Beginners to Experienced.  Groups should same experience level.

Weight limit:  220 pounds experienced
                       Beginner to Intermediate:  200 pounds

Riding/Walking $220 per person, per night fully inclusive (you select the
dates from 5-12 days of riding) Intermediate to Experienced.
No mixed ability groups please.
Wieght Limit: 220 pounds experienced, 200 pounds intermediate.
Age limit: No limit as long as the child is able to ride for up to 6 hours a
day. Must be accompanied by a parent. No single supplement as long as you are
willing to share. If not then 50% of trip cost is added.
Transfer costs: Road Transfer= $65 US each way per person and air transfer is
available on request.
Maximum 8 guests. Minimum 2.

This is an upmarket safari but you must be the type of traveller who is
prepared to travel without total luxury for parts of the trip to see the
Wilds of Africa in their original remote splendor. There are two long minibus
transfers. This is a Camping, Canoeing, Riding safari. We sleep out one night
under the stars with just a sleeping bag and a mat. 8-10 nights with direct
transfer to and from Harare.

Tuesday-Leave Harare 6am with minibus and 4x4 road transfer to Mana Pools.
(7-8 hours including stops) Canoe to lst camp
Wed-Friday-Canoeing
Saturday-Leave Kanyemba with 5 hour transfer to Kopje Tops Lodge in
Mavuradonna. Afternoon sundowner ride to get to know your horse.
Sun-Tues-Tingwa Valley or Explorer Safari (see above.)
Departures every Tuesday ALL YEAR LONG.
