The scenery in this area is dramatic and beautiful, and our rides include miles of the finest beaches and mountain trails with unsurpassed views of the north Atlantic and rugged off-shore islands. We recommend viewing David Lean's film, "Ryan's Daughter", which will give you a full appreciation of our wonderful scenery, as we can ride through many of the places seen in this film.  We provide excellent horse riding on the Dingle Peninsula, setting out daily from our traditional stables, located on the mountainside overlooking Dingle Harbour and close to the town of Dingle.

The itinerary of our week long Post to Post Trail Ride

Day 1 Saturday Arrive in Dingle and book into your accommodation.- Once settled, venture up to the stables for a short local ride. We introduce you to your guides, horses and help select a suitable mount for you. The local ride will take about an hour and a half and it is a splendid introduction to riding in the heart of the Dingle Peninsula. This scenic mountain ride via Dingle town demonstrates the versatility of our mounts and their safe footing. We adjourn for a pint at a local pub and sample the fine Guinness on offer as well as reviewing all you need to know about the forthcoming week.
Day 2 Sunday We begin our adventure from the stables. Our ride today is about 14 miles, covering Ventry Beach and Mt Eagle. Look forward to a rest and welcome lunch after the beach gallop, we then climb Mt Eagle and descend to Dunquin where the movie Ryan's Daughter was filmed, this area being the most beautiful in Ireland. We stay in Dunquin this evening
Day 3 Monday After breakfast we leave the Island and return to Dunquin to continue our riding adventure. First we visit the Great Blasket Heritage Center, providing excellent historical information and insights about the way things used to be. Setting off again, we explore more fine beaches and stop for lunch at the little village of Ballyferriter. Then onward to Ballydavid and the foot of Mt Brandon for a good nights rest and a hearty meal at the Bóther Pub.
Day 4 Tuesday We will cross over Mt Brandon to the easterly side of the peninsula, here awaits stunning mountain scenery, a lake and long wide sand and surf beaches. We enjoy a pub lunch along the way and then settle at Crutch's Hotel, Cloghane, for dinner and a nights rest.
Day 5 Wednesday We start this day by riding ten miles of sandy beach and go to an area over the hill called Inch where we take in the splendid foothills of Mt. Brandon and Inch Beach. Lunch is in the quaint village called Camp and accommodation is bed and breakfast looking down on the rollers of Inch strand. Dingle bay and the ring of Kerry peninsula are just beyond.
Day 6 Thursday The last night We start the day on the beach with fresh horses to enjoy your last days gallop. We then head back to the stables via the beautiful back fuchsia lined roads. Lunch is under the ruined castle of Minard where we have fourteen miles to ride back to the stables and a fantastic week riding is winding up. We will guarantee that your riding trip will not be forgotten! Friday gives you breathing space to get some rest or travel on. Dingle has some wonderful shops and galleries to shop.
